To start off with, why don’t you tell us a little about yourself!
I’m a 30 year old Front-End Developer and Graphics Designer, with more than 5 years of work experience.
What degree do you have?
I’m earning my Bachelors in Computer Science, and also have a diploma in Information Technology.
So, tell me about your childhood. Did you grow up in Pakistan?
Yes, I grew up in a small town in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and later on I came to Islamabad for my studies and job.
What do you and your family like to do in your free time?
I like travelling, painting, and photography. I usually travel to my hometown with my family on the weekends and long holidays.
Where have you travelled to?
I’ve been to Abbottabad, Murree, and Lahore. Abbottabad is my favorite though, since it’s my hometown. Next I’d like to travel to Saudi Arabia and Dubai.
What do you like to paint and take photos of?
I like calligraphy, and I take photos of nature, friends and family, and especially my kid.
How old is your child?
He is one and a half years old. It’s a great age.
Do you have a nickname?
Yes, I have two: “Zee” and “Ali.”
If you could fulfill one lifelong dream, what would it be?
Unfortunately, I couldn’t complete my studies as I wanted, so my dream is to earn a PhD in Information Security.
Do you have a favorite quote?
“The world cannot defeat you until you accept the defeat.”
What is your greatest strength?
I think that it is my ability to easily adjust in any environment.
What are the key ingredients in guiding and maintaining successful business relationships?
Communication is the main pillar of every successful business relationship.
Who do you consider your biggest role model and why?
That would be my father, because he has never given up on anything.
What is the best thing that has ever happened to you?
I’m glad my mother is very happy with me, and her prayers are the best thing in my life.
How do you think your friends would describe you?
They would say that I’m trustworthy.
What is your favorite memory from your childhood?
I won a cricket match on my own, and trust me my team was losing it. I was about 14 at the time, and saved the game for my team. I still play cricket now.
What is the best advice you have ever received?
There was one piece of advice from my sweet mom. She told me, “always be honest.”
