Faisal S.

At first glance, Faisal S. might seem a little reserved and quiet. After getting to know him more, his co-workers are often surprised to see his personality blossom before their eyes. His client had this to say: “Faisal is a diligent, hardworking developer that puts his head down and focuses on the tasks he is given. He has solid developer skills and good written English skills also. He also takes direction and advice well and would be a benefit to any team that he works with.”

His Team Lead, RK, told us: “Faisal is a hardworking, polite and humble person. His down-to-earth nature makes him great to work with. Given a task, he will put in all the necessary effort to get that task done.”

To get to know Faisal better, we sat down to chat with him.

I have a list of favorite movies, both Indian and English films, that includes several different genres. My favorite movie is 3 Idiot because it’s really funny and I love the idea of it. I also love Van Helsing, Solomon Kane, and The Season of the Witch. However, The Conjuring is the best scary one I’ve seen.

Do you have any funny office stories?

A funny incident occurred when we were moving into our new office and there was still construction being done on the building. The spot where one of our Team Leads was seated was below a temporary opening in the ceiling. One day he was seated and working at his desk and suddenly a cat jumped on him from the hole in the ceiling! That was one of the strangest and funniest things to happen at work, and we still talk and laugh about it to this day!

What is your favorite memory?

I spent three years of high school in Karachi from 1998 to 2001. That is a memorable time for me. All of my teachers and friends were very funny and jolly and I loved spending my time with them. In fact, you may say that was the best time of my educational years.

Any funny stories from home/friends to share?

In my last year of school, one of my unruly classmates brought itching powder to class. He put some of the powder down the backs of few of the guys in class and we saw those guys scratching their backs for the rest of the day. The funniest thing was that he managed to put some powder down the back of one of our teachers who proceeded to scratch his back curiously as if trying to find out what was wrong. Thankfully, I was able to dodge the culprit as he tried to put some of the powder on me!

All in all, you can definitely say that Faisal is a passionate man.
