Brian Michael, Allshore’s Director of Business Development, told us: “Alex is a hard working and driven professional.   His ability to manage many moving parts, and his resourcefulness, make him a very valuable member of both the Sales Team, and Allshore. Anybody can tell me why something is hard to do; Alex always looks for a way to make things happen!”

Adam Nichols, another Sales Team member, said: “Alex and I have been friends for many years now. He is an uncompromising guy that believes in hard work and keeping up with a tough grind. He is a trustworthy, reliable leader, who is truthful to his work. His passion for the work and technical expertise makes him an exceptional problem solver.”

For blog with my Brothers

So tell us about your family and a little about where you grew up!

I was born and raised in Rawalpindi, Pakistan. There are seven of us in my family: my mom, dad, three brothers, one sister, and me. I’m the oldest one, and we’re just one sweet family.
So, do you help to keep all the younger ones in line?

Yes, I do. My dad gave me the responsibility to look after them. I take care of their studies and other things as well.
Wow, so much responsibility! Do you enjoy being the oldest overall though?

I do, it’s always good to know that you have the respect of the younger ones in your family. On the other hand though there are too many things to take care of. The oldest one always gets the burden, but it’s nice and I make sure that I take care of them in every way. Also, as the oldest you have the benefit of having your parents trust.
So what do you and your family like to do in your free time?

We don’t have a lot of free time, but when we do my father and I watch sports, and my mom cooks. Sometimes when we have a lot of free time, my father and I will try something new in the kitchen, especially on Eid days. My father is famous for cooking, and I am his sidekick. The only reason I am the sidekick though, it that the younger ones always disappear when it’s time to work.
What kinds of dishes are your favorite?

Chicken tikka is my dad’s specialty. Other than that, he cooks delicious mutton karahi. I am good at making spaghetti because it’s easy to cook.

Do you have any other personal hobbies/interests?

I used to swim a lot, and I loved it. I don’t have the time for it now though, because the club times don’t match with my schedule. I also read motivational books in my free time, when I’m in the right mood.

Do you have a favorite motivational book?
I like The Secret and The Magic by Rhonda Byrne. I’ve also read a few books by Paulo Coelho. The Alchemist was the best one and Brida is also good.

For Blog with RKWhat television shows are you interested in?

My favorite show is Friends, but I also like Arrow, Dexter, Lost, Prison Break, and many more.

So what made you decide to go into sales?
It was a coincidence actually. I was done with accounting, and I studied for a year to get a Diploma in Business Administration. That is where I got training for sales and marketing. Then a friend of mine got me a job in an American Taxi Dispatch Service in Chicago.

So tell us about your time with the company. What are some experiences you have had?
There are tough times and then there are good times. I try to learn from the hard times whatever I could and enjoy the good times. This job has helped me to bring the best out of myself. Over all, I love my job here and I love the people around me, the environment, and the respect I get. I read somewhere that you should do what you love to do, and I am doing exactly that.

What is the most valuable lesson you have learned through working in sales?
Sales means things that go up will come down, but don’t lose your heart as you never know what’s on the next corner. The hard part in there is to keep motivated and self-esteem.

Alex likes to travel and has been to many places in Pakistan. His favorites are Kashimr and the Naran Valley. He also hopes to travel to Europe some time in the next year. His favorite thing about the office is his co-workers. Alex’s favorite color is black, because it means power and mystery.
